The Wedding Consultation!
a.k.a. “Free Consults”
When potential wedding clients inquire about my services, I always offer a wedding consultation/meet & greet. These can be held at my studio location in Virginia Beach, or at a local coffee shop within Hampton Roads.
There is no fee or obligation to schedule a consultation!
Next:
Bookings!
You can hire me on the spot, or sleep on it. I try not to pressure anyone, especially wedding clients!
Planning a wedding is a huge task, so I want the process to be as easy as possible.
If you decide to hire me, I only require a 50% deposit to reserve your wedding date.
I accept cash, check, credit card or PayPal. Payments can be made in-person, over-the-phone, or directly on my website.
The remaining balance won’t be due til about 2/3 weeks after your wedding. Balances are paid when all of the photos are done being edited.
Then:
Wedding Prep!
Once you have reserved your wedding date with me, we will schedule some time to discuss your wedding day and photography goals in full detail.
Important things we’ll discuss are the timeline, points of contact, venue requirements, wedding colors, lighting, types of photographs wanted, any special family circumstances, etc.
Around this time, you will also start to receive emails from me with helpful tips and information on what to expect.

At this point, all of your hard work has paid off and you have said your vows! Yayy!!!
While you’re settling into married life, we are working hard on editing your wedding photos. Our photo editing process is done by hand and is unique to each photo. We strive to keep a natural photograph with vivid colors and crisp lines.
It usually takes two to three weeks to edit wedding photos, depending on how many photographs were taken. Photographs taken at a wedding can range from 100 to 2,000 photos.
