TODAY marks 3 YEARS since I started my business!
To be HONEST.. I made the decision to be self-employed expecting to fail, but I knew I had to give it a shot – or I would kick myself later for not trying.
Well, HERE I AM.. three years into the game, and I’m NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!
Sure, I’ve made bad decision and have had extreme highs and lows, but when it boils down to it – I’ve consistently grown my business year-over-year and have managed to maintain a commercial studio space since year one.
I am able to donate my services to charity without thinking twice, and I have met some truly amazing people who have helped me professionally, and personally.
Now, that feels pretty amazing, but the icing on the cake is when my children recognize my hard work.
They have consistently offered their help, told their teachers and friend’s parents about me, and have expressed interest in working my business “when they grow up”. They tell me when they see me on Google and give me props for my ratings and reviews:)
My children (and my husband of course) are my biggest fans.
To me, that says they’re proud to call me mom, and that’s the best and most successful feeling EVER!
