Bob and Bonnie are from Tennessee
They are a sweet older couple full of life and lots of love. They contacted me for their morning wedding ceremony in Colonial Williamsburg. Bonnie and Bob have been friends for some time and actually met while Bonnie was acting as Bob’s home nurse. Bob is partially blind.
It’s funny how fate takes over and introduces the love of your life, just like that.
Their ceremony was in Colonial Williamsburg in a beautiful garden. Pretty pink flowers and big blossoming trees surrounded us as Bob and Bonnie exchanged their vows.
After the ceremony, we snapped a few bridal portraits, then we headed to a spot that I’ve been wanting to shoot at.
Previously, I photographed an event at the Golden Horse Shoe Golf Course, and on the way there, I noticed a stone road and a brick bridge. Immediately I knew I wanted to use that location.
Fast forward a bit, and here come Bob and Bonnie, super nice and approachable people, so I asked… “hey guys, how would you like to go to spot with a cool bridge?”. Bonnie immediately replied, “Let’s do it!”.
It was a blast meeting Bob and Bonnie. I wish them many years of love and happiness together and am so happy they called me for their wedding photography.
Thanks Bob and Bonnie!
xoxo, Mikki
